Gentle cleaning of porous asphalt surfacings

We keep porous asphalt (PA) in top condition: Take advantage of deep-pore cleaning for drainage, noise reduction, and safety.

Precise high-pressure water application for maximum surface performance

Porous asphalt is designed to drain water and reduce noise. However, dust, fine particles, oil, and rubber residue clog the open pores over time – causing the material to lose its functional properties. This has a particular impact on safety, acoustics, and surface performance on high-traffic areas. High-pressure water technology cleans porous asphalt surfaces effectively while preserving their structure.

Moderate pressure, wide spray bars, and integrated suction remove deposits from deep within the pores without damaging the pavement structure. This restores the original porosity – the pavement does not need to be replaced. The result: longer durability, lower costs (cleaning versus repaving).

Goals: Restoration of porosity, removal of fine dust, oil, and rubber, and preservation of drainage, traction, and acoustic properties.

Pressure range: 1,000–2,500 bar, lower than for rubber removal to protect the structure.

Specific features: patented annular gap suction, wide nozzle bars, prevention of structural damage.

Products: double twister, duo twister
