Once the technical drawing is finalized, the critical first step in steel construction begins: cutting. Dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and surface quality lay the foundation for all subsequent processes, such as forming and welding. We use the term “forming” to refer to all processes that transform cut-to-size parts into three-dimensional components – such as bending, folding, rolling, and straightening sheet metal, profiles, and tubes.

Durable surfaces, reliably protected

Surface treatment protects against corrosion, increases wear resistance, and ensures a clean appearance. Mechanical pretreatments such as blasting, grinding, or polishing prepare the material, followed by coatings such as priming, liquid painting, or powder coating.

For the most demanding applications, electroplating or thermal processes such as galvanizing are also used – resulting in a durable, industrial-grade surface for steel and mechanical engineering projects.

Stable construction thanks to precise welding technology

In steel construction, welding is the primary joining process used to connect individual components into stable structures. Depending on the material and requirements, MAG, MIG, or TIG welding processes are used to ensure high strength and consistent quality.

Experienced welders and processes certified to industry standards ensure that beams, frames, and assemblies meet all mechanical and safety requirements. Optional additional inspections, such as visual inspections, dimensional checks, or non-destructive testing, can be performed.
